Built for experienced players (3+ years) who are serious about competing at a higher level, this advanced training experience sharpens elite shooting mechanics, explosive dodging, and high-IQ offensive decision-making. Camp Overview
Spend the week honing advanced stick work, positional skills, and high-level lacrosse IQ. Each position group receives focused training sessions before integrating into team concepts, transition play, and competitive game situations.
Offensive Focus Areas
- Advanced dodging techniques (split, roll, question mark, inside moves)
- Reading defenders and recognizing slide packages
- Off-ball movement, cutting, and spacing concepts
- Feeding techniques and vision development
- Shooting mechanics: time-and-room, on-the-run, step-down, and finishing in tight
- Hand speed, footwork, change of direction, and body positioning
- Decision-making under pressure and game-speed execution
- Take-home drills to continue developing offensive IQ and stick skills
Progression: Shooting skills → Individual fundamentals → Transition skills → Team concepts → Competitive gameplay

Key Coaching Staff
Camp Director: John Whittles
Coach Whittles has been a dedicated high school coach for the past 18 years, bringing passion, leadership, and experience to every team he’s led. In addition to his long standing high school career, He has also worked with youth teams for the past four seasons, helping to develop young talent at the grassroots level. A Maryland native, Coach Whittles began playing the game in 1989 and has remained committed to its growth ever since.

Jules Heningburg is a professional lacrosse attackman and influential leader both on and off the field. Born and raised in Maplewood, New Jersey, he began playing lacrosse at age 7 and went on to transform Rutgers University’s program, finishing as a two-time captain, All-Big Ten and All-American, and the second-all-time point scorer in school history. He made history as Rutgers’ highest ever professional draft pick, going 7th overall in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Draft, and has gone on to excel in the Premier Lacrosse League, earning All-Star honors and ranking among the league’s top scorers.
Beyond his on-field success, Jules is a committed coach, entrepreneur and advocate. He created Juke Lab, a training system and player development platform, and founded Mission Primed, a mentorship and enrichment program for young athletes. Jules also helped establish the Black Lacrosse Alliance, working to advance diversity and inclusion within the sport. His journey reflects a lifelong dedication to lacrosse and a passion for inspiring the next generation of players.
